Namefi Abuse Reporting Procedures and Contact Information

Namefi is committed to maintaining a safe and secure domain name space. We take reports of abuse seriously and have established the following procedures for reporting and handling abuse:

Abuse Reporting Procedure:

1. Submit a report: Use our web form at https://namefi.io/report or email abuse@namefi.io to report any abusive behavior related to domain names registered through Namefi.

2. Provide details: Include as much information as possible, such as:

   • The domain name(s) involved
   • The type of abuse (e.g., malware, phishing, spam)
   • Any evidence supporting the abuse claim

3. Receive confirmation: Namefi plans to provide an automated confirmation of receipt for all submitted reports.

4. Investigation: Our abuse team plans to promptly investigate all reports. For well-founded reports of Illegal Activity from law enforcement and designated authorities, we plan to review these within 24 hours.

5. Action taken: If abuse is confirmed, Namefi plans to take appropriate action, which may include suspending or canceling the domain name.

6. Follow-up: Reporters may follow up on their reports by referencing the ticket number provided in the confirmation email.

• Malware
• Phishing
• Spam (when used as a delivery mechanism for other forms of abuse)
• Botnet command and control
• Illegal or fraudulent activities
• Trademark or copyright infringement
• Child exploitation and other illegal content

Namefi plans to maintain records of all abuse reports and our responses for at least two years, in accordance with our data retention policies.

We are committed to collaborating with law enforcement, security researchers, and other relevant parties to combat domain name abuse and maintain a safe online environment.
