We evaluate candidates on six dimensions — Values, Expertise, Communication, Intelligence, Resource, and Potential. No resume gatekeeping, no pedigree filters — just what you can do and who you are.

We do not filter by resume, school, or pedigree. We evaluate every candidate on six dimensions that actually predict success on our team.


Our Hiring Framework

Every candidate — engineer, designer, PM, creator, business developer — is evaluated on the same six pillars. The weight shifts by role, but the dimensions are universal.

Values

Do you love what you do and what we do?

You build, create, and ship even when nobody requires it. You publish your work and welcome contributions. You proactively learn about our vision, product, and people — and on audit projects, you go beyond what we asked. Plus the fundamentals: integrity, kindness, and curiosity.

Expertise

Can you be productive from day one on our known problems?

Proficiency in the skills and tools the role demands. But expertise is not just what you know today — it is also domain depth that lets you identify and propose problems and solutions we have not thought of yet.

Communication

Can you amplify the team's total intelligence?

We call it "TCP" communication: listen carefully and ask for clarification, express yourself clearly and ask for confirmation, and always set expectations for the next touchpoint. Quality means clarity, empathy, and being compelling.

Intelligence

Can you solve problems you have never seen before?

First-principles thinking, cross-discipline knowledge, and an out-of-the-box mindset. When you hit something new, you dissect it with logic, revisit assumptions, and find creative paths forward.

Resource

How resourceful are you?

Great people know great people, curate great tools, and spot opportunities. We value the networks, technologies, and unconventional assets you bring to the table.

Potential

How fast and how far will you grow?

We look at your trajectory — past growth, recent leaps, appetite for learning. We hire for where you are headed, not just where you have been.


What We Offer

  • Competitive pay with equity — we pay well and align incentives. Intern positions are generally unpaid, with exceptions based on circumstance.
  • Fully remote — we do not care about where you are or what timezone you are in. Work from anywhere in the world, so long as you are passionate about the work and can join core meetings and schedule time with teammates when needed.
  • AI-first tooling — AI agents and the latest generative tools are a core part of how we work, not a side experiment.

We highly value the quality of your past work — code repos, portfolios, papers, deals closed, funds raised, customers served — much more than line items, titles, schools, or companies on your resume. Those matter too, but much less.

Legal and Compliance

Namefi is a Delaware-incorporated company. All hiring is conducted in accordance with US federal and Delaware state law. We hire globally — we do not care where you are located, so long as your engagement is compliant with applicable regulations.


Language

We require professional fluency in English. A second language of any kind is a plus. A second language that none of our existing teammates speak is a big plus — it is a slight additional way for us to prioritize cultural and geographic diversity, though it is never a requirement.


Our Process

  1. Application — Send your resume, a link to your work (GitHub, portfolio, anything you have built), and a brief note about why you are excited.
  2. Initial conversation — A casual video call to get to know each other. We want to understand your story, not grill you on algorithms.
  3. Audit project — A take-home or pair-programming project that mirrors real work you would do on the team. We look for people who go beyond what we asked.
  4. Team interviews — Meet the people you would work with. We evaluate across all six dimensions of our hiring framework.
  5. Offer — If it is a mutual fit, we move fast.
