SERP (Search Engine Results Page)

The SERP (Search Engine Results Page) is the ranked list of pages a search engine such as Google returns when someone types a query — the battlefield on which every domain ultimately competes for organic traffic. Each position on a SERP is determined by hundreds of signals: page relevance, site speed, mobile-friendliness, E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness), and critically, a domain's accumulated domain authority and the quantity of quality inbound links it has earned. A domain that reliably appears in the top three results for high-intent keywords can be worth exponentially more than one buried on page two, which is why SEO equity is a core component of domain valuation — particularly for exact-match domains whose name mirrors a searched phrase.
