Buy It Now (BIN) is a fixed, instant-purchase price on a domain listing: a buyer who pays the stated amount completes the sale immediately, with no negotiation. It is the simplest way to sell on the aftermarket — the price is transparent and the transaction is frictionless, which suits commodity names and sellers who already know their target number. The trade-off is that a firm price can leave money on the table when an end user would have paid more; for those cases sellers use a make-offer flow instead, and many marketplace platforms expose both at once.

For Namefi, Victor edits and writes about domains as durable digital identity: how names become ownable onchain assets, how tokenization changes custody and trust, and what naming can learn from the systems people use to establish identity online.
