Make Offer is a domain listing format that invites prospective buyers to submit a bid, which the seller can accept, counter, or decline. Unlike a fixed buy-it-now price, it suits names where the seller is unsure of the optimal number or expects an end user to surface who will pay above the investor floor. Sellers protect themselves with a reserve price — a private walk-away number below which they will not engage — and often route negotiation through a domain broker who reads buyer intent and anchors the conversation. The downside is friction and time: every sale becomes a negotiation.
