Most flips of a .com end the same nervous way: the buyer doesn't want to pay before the name moves, the seller doesn't want to move the name before getting paid, and an escrow agent stands in the middle holding the money while a registrar transfer clears over days. That standoff is the friction tax on every high-value sale. Tokenizing the .com first changes the shape of the whole trade: the name becomes a token you hold in a wallet, and the sale becomes a single on-chain swap instead of a multi-day, multi-party handoff.
